These proprietary solutions are built around an integrated human capital appraisal framework and data-driven processes intended to help organizations streamline their operational efficiency, reduce their human capital costs, mitigate their human capital risks, and empower their human capital assets.
Summary Overview
The MERIT Integrated Solutions™ platform was developed by Future Achievement International® (FAI) with the aim of helping organizations maximize their human capital assets. FAI’s goal is to deliver cost-effective solutions designed to assist organizations with their talent acquisition, employee development, and succession planning strategies. These proprietary solutions are built around an integrated human capital appraisal framework and data-driven processes intended to help organizations streamline their operational efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and empower their human capital assets.
MERIT Culture CQ™
“CQ” stands for “Character Quotient.” The MERIT Culture CQ is an innovative solution that assesses the current state of an organization’s internal culture. It then provides insights about the organization’s future state, as it relates to vision and core values. The MERIT Culture CQ establishes a profile of an organization’s desired culture.
Leadership is able to use this information to compare the degree of “compatibility” and “fit” of an individual to company culture, as it relates to hiring, employee development and succession planning initiatives. Decision makers become better equipped to align the corporate values with the corporate culture, and align human capital to the corporate mission. Managers are better able to manage human capital with proactive strategic interventions, thus reducing interpersonal conflict and turnover, increasing productivity, and improving overall performance.
MERIT Performance Index™
The MERIT Performance Index (MPI) system is an assessment and decision-making tool that establishes the desired character and behavioral profiles for given employee positions. This not only results in consistency throughout the hiring process, but also provides for the opportunity to measure an individual’s degree of fit across all positions. This predictive analytic technology and online process is able to capture, interpret and apply relevant business performance data to help management assess talent, empower leaders and predict future employee outcomes. This information assists management in improving the predictability of their human capital decisions.
MERIT Profile™
The MERIT Profile is a web-based, character and behavioral assessment tool designed to optimize your hiring and employee development efforts. The MERIT Profile provides an excellent view into ten core character competencies, grouped as the Attitudes, Beliefs, and Commitments of the person completing the assessment.
It is delivered in a six-page Recruitment Report for hiring professionals, and a thirteen-page Employee Development Report, used to train and coach leaders and employees. The MERIT Profile is well applied as a company-wide development instrument pertaining to culture dynamics and career-pathing as well as a talent acquisition tool through customization of a MERIT Performance Index™ for each individual job position.
Character-Based Learning
Improving the Personal Leadership Effectiveness™ of your staff requires continuous character development training in order to best build and empower a character-driven team of executives, managers, supervisors and employees at all levels. Our character-based learning programs provide each participant with a positive and valuable personal and professional learning experience. The workshops instill in each participant a desire to learn and apply the MAXIMIZERS™ principles. They present key insights into the meaning of each participant’s personal MERIT Profile™ and the development of a Life*Action Plan™. The two workshops noted below are designed to be standardized learning workshops for the entire organization. (Customized programs are available upon request).
Developing Authentic Leaders™
This learning program is structured as a 16-hour learning workshop for business owners, managers and supervisors. Participants gain an understanding of the MAXIMIZERS principles, learn how to apply them in a business context and how to reinforce the concepts with their teams. (Program structure/time frame can be adjusted to meet client requirements).
Achieving Authentic Success®
This learning program is structured as a 10-hour learning workshop for the general employee population. Participants gain an understanding of the MAXIMIZERS principles and learn how to apply them in their personal and professional life. (Program structure/time frame can be adjusted to meet client requirements).
Coaching Forums
Developing the Personal Leadership Effectiveness™ of your staff is critical within any organization. It requires an ongoing sustainable learning and coaching process in order to enhance the overall performance and productivity of your teams. Coaching creates a reinforcement model that sustains the ongoing transformation of your staff. Coaching can be conducted one-on-one or within a group environment. In addition to coaching forums, we also provide online or instructor-led programs that serve to develop in-house company coaches (see below).
MAXIMIZERS Coach™
The MAXIMIZERS Coach Program is designed to assist you with coaching and mentoring others in a formal and engaging process that will improve their overall Personal Leadership Effectiveness™. This workshop is designed to help internal organizational coaches or professional life/business coaches as it relates to the MERIT Profile™. Participants gain valuable insights, knowledge and wisdom on how to effectively help others best utilize their MERIT Profile to further personal and professional awareness. Participants learn to how to equip others to incorporate ten universal “character-based” principles (MAXIMIZERS™), so they can live a life of balance, authentic success and significance, both personally and professionally.
Certification Tracks (Consultant / Trainer)
Future Achievement International® has developed a powerful and effective training program to prepare our Strategic Partners (consultants and trainers) to successfully support and deliver to their clients all of the various MERIT Integrated Solutions described on this page. Our instructor-led classes and our eLearning platforms provide a cost-effective training and coaching process that helps prepare you to best serve your client’s needs. Additionally, a Train-The-Trainer program is available to organizations that prefer to deliver courses through their in-house training department.
MERIT Operating System™
Our MERIT Operating System is comprised of multiple character and behavioral development “blended learning modules.” The system provides individuals and organizations access to an eLearning environment in which they can further their understanding of each of the MAXIMIZERS™ Principles. This learning environment includes the use of a wide variety of modalities, including interactive video, study guides, CDs, forums and cross-training exercises. (Currently under development)
MERIT Results Indicator™
The MERIT Results Indicator diagnostically assesses and quantifies performance of the MERIT Culture CQ™ and MERIT Performance Index™ (MPI) implementations over a sustained period of time. This process is vital in both determining the current bottom-line impact of existing applications, and in recommending refinements and performance improvement opportunities to extend current applications. Changes noted in key performance indicators serve as notice to recalibrate the current MPI and implement additional performance improvement strategies.
